You access different areas of the library portal by clicking on tabs.
If you want to, you can change how tabs appear in the portal. You can add or delete tabs, change the name or order of tabs.

Deleting a tab
If you want to, you can delete a tab that you are no longer using. Deleting a tab removes accessibility to the channels available on that tab.
To add a new tab
Log in to your user account.
Click the Customize icon:
Choose Tabs.
Click the Delete icon next to the tab that you want to delete:
Click Save Layout to save your changes.
When you are finished, log out of your user account.
Note: This feature may not be available, depending on how your library sets up the portal.

If you want to, you can customize your portal view by adding a new tab. After you add a new tab, you can choose specific channels to display when you click the new tab.Note: You must have a library portal user account and be logged into the library portal in order to customize your portal view. |
To add a new tab
- Log in to your user account.
- Click the Customize icon:
- Choose Tabs.
- Click Create Tab.
- Name the tab.
- Add the channels that you want on the tab.
- Organize the channels in the order that you want them to appear.
- Click Save Layout to save your changes.
- When you are finished, log out of your user account.
Renaming a tab
If you have a library portal user account, you can name any of the tabs the way that you want to.
To rename a tab - Log in to your user account.
- Click the Customize icon:
- Choose Tabs.
- Find the tab that you want to rename or create a new one.
- Click the Rename icon next to the tab that you want to rename:
- Enter the new name.
Note: Do
not put any non-alphanumeric
characters in the tab names (such as apostrophes or ampersands).

- Click OK.
- Click Save Layout to save your changes.
- When you are finished, log out of your user account.
Reordering tabs
You can rearrange the order in which the tabs appear.
To reorder tabs - Log in to your user account.
- Click the Customize icon:
- Choose Tabs.
- Click the up and down arrows to move the current tabs into the order that you want.
- Click Save Layout to save your changes.
- When you are finished, log out of your user account.
